The fork length is a value determining the position of the axis of support in relation to the frame
(the position of the front wheel in relation to the frame remains - regardless of the fork length - unchanged).

Therefore, determining the optimal fork length is essentially determining whether, after taking a position in the frame,
the user will be able to optimally use the reach of his arms to turn the cranks.

The fork length in JetBike is the distance of the axis of support from the console connecting the fork to the frame.

This is an alternative to the convention in which the distance of the axis of support from the front wheel axis is given.
These methods of specifying the fork length are equivalent and differ only in the reference point adopted.

At JetBike, we decided to use the console as a reference point, because it makes it easier to determine and measure the user's position in the frame in relation to the axis of support - which is essentially what it’s all about  when discussing fork length.

The position in the JetBike frame in relation to the axis of support does not differ significantly from a position
that can be assumed in the other, most popular carbon handbike brand.

7. For the remaining 20% of users (whose physical conditions are in the extreme areas of the normal distribution for the population, i.e. who have exceptionally short or exceptionally long arms), we predicted a shortened and elongated fork. In their case, moving in the frame closer/further to it’s front will not compensate for the length of the arms, so it is necessary to limit (long fork) or extend (short fork) the distance from the front of the frame. 

6. The JetBike geometry is designed to allow approximately 80% of usersto find the right position in the frame with a standard fork.

5.And so: an user with short arms should take a position closer to the front of the frame, an athlete with long arms - a position further from the front of the frame - with a standard fork. The "saddle" included in the set is helpful in setting this position.

4. By moving in the frame, one can "compensate" for the different length of one's arms - with a standard fork length.

3. The length of the user's arms is constant, but the position in the frame can be modified (one can move further / closer to the front of the frame) by a few centimeters - the exact range depends on the user's individual body build.
